Capturing the soul of jewish life, through my lens, and your stories.
I travel, meet and photograph interesting individuals and communities to keep us connected, rooted and open hearted
As cultural traditions face unprecedented challenges, and jewish voices are often overlooked, especially since October 7th
We are witnessing a lack of representation and understanding, limited awareness and engagement, and disconnect between communities.
Documenting diverse stories of individuals and communities, will help preserve our jewish heritage, rise awareness and inspire engagement and bridging cultural gaps

CAROL TATEN’S STORY
“For over 40 years, I’ve devoted myself to the realm of historical dance and education. Now in my 80s, I continue to lead an active life, balancing athletic pursuits, mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, and immersing myself in New York’s vibrant cultural scene. Inspired by influential figures like Alice Shalvi, I’ve embraced freedom, initiative, and human connection as guiding principles in my journey through life.”
